Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex environments to maintain system reliability and support business continuity through effective troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure timely resolution of application issues.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities.
- Continuously monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize operations.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
- Experience with cloud-based application deployment and management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and multi-component architectures.
- Ability to analyze logs and diagnostic data to identify root causes of issues.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline support processes.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
