Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Your typical day will involve working with Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools and technologies to develop and maintain data integration solutions.
Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and develop solutions to address them.
- Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, including data mappings, data lineage, and data dictionaries.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expertise in ETL tools and technologies such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
- Additional Must To Have Skills: None
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts and techniques.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in ETL development.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality ETL solutions.
- This position is based in Manila.
