The Work:
The team designs and develops Power BI reports to provide insights to improve decision-making. Team members are expected to have knowledge on business intelligence concepts, data integration, data warehousing, data modeling, database (SQL), and technical aspects of Power BI development tool.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields.
- Experience using SQL queries to get the best results
- Proficient in using Power BI, create dashboards, filters, and interactive visual reports
- Build defined key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives
- Create, test, and deploy Power BI reports
- Proficient in Power BI functions to build DAX queries
- Create documentation with explanations of parameters, models, and relationships
- Knows how to transform the data using Power Query (ETL)
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge and understanding on basic data warehouse concepts
- Experience on converting business requirements of data analytics projects to create data models and appropriate visuals
- Have done performance tuning on current BI systems to improve overall performance
