What you will do
Client partnership: Be the trusted partner to our utilities’ clients, guiding them in a variety of strategically important business decisions
Strategic Consulting and Delivery: Bring working knowledge or implementation experience in Utilities domain to design and deliver end-to-end transformation programs across value chain, including strategy development, operating model design, and execution oversight
Business development: Seek opportunities to develop revenue in existing and new areas in Utilities industry and drive proposal creation and presales activities for the engagement; new accounts. Lead efforts towards building go-to-market/ off the shelf /point solutions and process methodologies for reuse.
People Development: Mentor and coach junior team members, helping build industry depth and consulting capabilities. Identify and nurture future leaders within the team, encouraging ownership and accountability.
Role Description
12+ years of relevant utility industry experience in a role helping to deliver the projects in energy/utilities market, or 12+ years in a consulting role, with experience in large-scale transformation programs
Should understand different business process in of Utility Industry (Regulated and Deregulated)
Possess practical exposure or foundational knowledge of Utilities industry including T&D, Retail, utilities platforms and Energy Transition System
Strong command of smart grid technologies, AMI systems, and digital transformation initiatives, driving operational efficiency and grid modernization.
In-depth understanding of utility finance, including capital budgeting and financial forecasting.
Experience in developing customer-centric solutions and pricing strategies within retail energy markets.
Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives, project roadmaps, and delivery excellence to achieve client and organizational goals
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes and alignment with Accenture's standards.
Build trusted client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure exceptional service delivery
Work closely with teams across technology, data, change management, and industry experts to deliver integrated, impactful solutions.
Drive, enjoy a challenge, proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results, with a focus on continuous development and curiosity about the latest industry and technology trends
Experienced storyteller with ability to communicate findings to a non-technical audience
Mentor and develop teams, fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and high performance.
Candidate should have good communication skills (business communication skills), demonstrating skills in sharing and explaining complex concepts, creative and pro-active thinking, and situational adaptation of these skills.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate/master’s degree in a business, engineering, technical or economic field
Preferable to have an MBA/ Master’s degree education in a relevant field.
