Job Description
Job Summary:
The Content Architect supports the global Accenture Learning Content Development Center (CDC) network in a variety of capacities. The role entails supporting the development and delivery of training solutions to all Accenture Learning clients (including but not limited to web-based training, performance simulation and virtual-web-based training). As a member of the Accenture Learning’s content architecture team, the Content Architect is responsible for translating business requirements against standard product offerings and development platforms to enable the CDC organization to develop content in a repeatable factory model.
The Content Architect has ownership for all technical deliverables throughout the duration of the project. The Content Architect is responsible for reporting status of all technical deliverables back to the Content Architecture Lead. In addition, he or she will be responsible for assisting with planning technical efforts and providing estimates on technical tasks. In addition, the Content Architect will evaluate and analyze non-standard requirements or product enhancements and design and deliver solutions to meet the requirement/enhancement needs. The Content Architect also provides technical guidance to the content development team during the development phase of work and raises technical issues as appropriate to the Content Architecture Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to meet Accenture Learning’s (AL) business needs, working with AL’s standard tools and processes
• Understand standard tools, capabilities, and configurations
• Gather requirements, analyze, and develop product enhancements as required that minimize customizations and cost
• Provide tool and development platform enablement to CDC development resources
• Participate in strategic and innovation initiatives to determine future learning standards and toolsets
• Support new business opportunities
• Support the Content Architecture Manager with solutions needed for new sales opportunities within learning
• Support all change order and enhancement requests of current customers within learning
• Provide technology sales support materials to the deal teams that differentiate our capability
• Execute Technical Onboarding processes for new client projects
• Evaluate client deployment environments against our standard product type requirements
• Identify and recommend solutions for non-standard or client-specific requirements
• Develop content prototypes to meet the needs of our clients
• Assist with network connectivity setup for new client projects. Work with the appropriate network teams to establish remote connectivity for CDC locations to a client’s network
• Industrialize and standardize new technology when in scope. Create reusable solutions for reuse across projects
• Support global CDC development workforce
• Provide technical support for development tools and product offering enhancements
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all development tools and platforms
• Document product requirements and propose solutions utilizing standard technology platforms
• Provide technical guidance for AL business projects, such as:
• Process improvement initiatives
• Tool and vendor evaluations

Qualifications
Education:
• BA/BS - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business. Related field, or equivalent experience
Work Experience:
• 5+ years’ experience in the following areas:
o Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience
o Experience with common web development languages and standards
HTML, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, Flash ActionScript, SQL Server, Microsoft .Net, other
o Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server & IIS
o Experience with general Internet frameworks and technologies: HTTP/HTTPS, client-server, ftp/sftp, other
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project)
• Practical training/learning industry experience a plus
• 3+ years Project Management
• Experience with supporting US & European clients
