POSITION TITLE: Contracting Manager
WORK SETUP: Hybrid
OVERALL PURPOSE:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented sourcing professional to lead sourcing projects of increasing complexity within the Source-to-Contract (S2C) lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will combine hands-on execution with strategic development, guiding initiatives that deliver measurable business value while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in Category to design sourcing strategies, develop category roadmaps, and conduct market and supplier analyses that inform client decision-making. You will also champion the responsible adoption of AI and digital tools to drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across sourcing activities.
As an emerging leader, you will mentor team members, shape best practices, and contribute to business development efforts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who balances delivery excellence with forward-looking strategy.
Key Responsibilities / The Work
• Develop category strategies, roadmaps, and pipelines by leveraging market intelligence, supplier research, and financial/commercial analyses to align with client business goals.
• Lead sourcing initiatives across the S2C lifecycle, including supplier outreach, RFx events, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Perform financial and commercial analyses of supplier proposals and contracts to inform negotiation strategies and optimize client outcomes.
• Champion AI and digital enablement, embedding enterprise-approved tools into sourcing workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and stakeholder outcomes.
• Develop market intelligence and thought leadership content to enable knowledge sharing, position procurement as a trusted advisor, and support external visibility with clients.
• Deliver client-facing business development support, including contract assessments, due diligence, and development of business cases and case studies.
• Mentor and coach teams, building capability in sourcing execution, stakeholder engagement, AI literacy, procurement best practices, and Category expertise.
• Foster high-trust relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers, adapting to global cultures and organizational structures.
• Drive continuous improvement and transformational change in procurement delivery models, sourcing practices, and supplier ecosystems.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to multiple customer locations.
Qualifications (balance):
• Communication & Storytelling: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create client-facing content and thought leadership; proven ability to tailor messaging from detailed analysis through to executive-level storytelling for C-suite audiences.
• Tools & Platforms: Proficiency in sourcing/procurement platforms, Microsoft Office, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent professional experience). Advanced degrees and/or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, MCIPS) preferred.

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 5 years in Contracts/Contracting experience
