Custom Software Engineer

Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role includes collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and applying agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of scalable and efficient software solutions. Continuous enhancement and optimization of existing software elements are part of daily activities, along with participating in code reviews and testing to maintain high-quality standards. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate effective communication within the team to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. - Mentor team members to foster professional growth and enhance technical capabilities. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve integration challenges. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and software quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in API Management. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in API Testing, Portuguese Language. - Strong knowledge of designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs to support business applications. - Experience with API security protocols and best practices to ensure robust and secure integrations. - Familiarity with API lifecycle management tools and techniques to streamline development and deployment. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to API performance and reliability. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in API Management. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
