Custom Software Engineering Lead

Summary: As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding the technical vision and architectural framework for custom software projects. This role includes overseeing the design and implementation phases, ensuring that development practices meet high standards for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various teams is a key part of the day, as well as making strategic decisions that align with business goals and support successful project delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to promote a productive work environment. - Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and skill development. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and outcomes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in OpenText Documentum. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition, Agile Process Coaching, Microsoft SQL Server. - Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices. - Experience in leading software development teams and managing project lifecycles. - Ability to ensure code quality through rigorous review and adherence to standards. - Familiarity with performance optimization and scalable software design. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in OpenText Documentum. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
