Data Science Engineer

Summary: As an AI / Machine Learning Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing advanced applications and systems that leverage artificial intelligence technologies. This role requires integrating cloud-based or on-premises solutions to ensure production-ready quality. The engineer collaborates with various teams to implement innovative models, including generative artificial intelligence, deep learning, and neural networks, to address complex challenges and enhance system capabilities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster continuous learning. - Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals and deliverables. - Monitor project progress and implement improvements to optimize workflows. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Data Science. - Strong foundation in statistical methods and machine learning techniques. - Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment of AI models in production environments. - Proficient in programming languages commonly used in data science such as Python or R. - Ability to work with large datasets and apply data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
