Cloud Network Support Engineer
- Deep understanding of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other routing and switching protocols.
- Experience in design, implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices (Cisco, Juniper, Arista etc)
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking solutions, including hybrid/multicloud environments. Proficiency with GCP networking services such as VPC, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud DNS, and Cloud Armor. Including understanding of core concepts like virtual networks, firewalls, routing, NAT, load balancing (L7/L4), BGP, DNS resolution, and DDoS protection
- Knowledge of security best practices for securing network resources and experience with security protocols like VPNs, ASA and FirePower
- Experience with monitoring tools for troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Experience with basic scripting for configuration (Linux/Windows) and troubleshooting (Understanding of calling APIs)
- Experience using techniques such as packet-capture/packet-analysis,load testing, and traffic-path analysis to troubleshoot network-latency, packet-loss and performance issues. Expertise in tools usage WireShark, Tcpdump etc.
- Experience in web technologies and troubleshooting (Ex: HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL etc.)
- 2 years or more experience in Network Engineering and Network Automation
- Experience in implementing both on-premise and Cloud-based infrastructure
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues
- Familiarity with support methodologies, case lifecycles, and analytical skills for breaking down issues
- Amenable to daily in-office set up in BGC, Taguig
