The work:
• Administer ONTAP-based storage environments, including SVM setup and multitenancy support.
• Manage flexible volumes and apply storage efficiency features such as deduplication, compression, and compaction.
• Perform routine storage tasks including volume creation, CIFS share setup, qtree and quota management, LUN provisioning, initiator group configuration, and zoning.
• Maintain data protection mechanisms and integrate backup solutions like IBM Spectrum Protect.
• Differentiate and manage network protocols (CIFS/SMB, NFS, iSCSI/FC) across diverse environments.
• Support NAS and SAN infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and integration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot storage systems using NetApp tools such as OCSM, AIQUM, and AutoSupport.
• Coordinate with NetApp Support for technical assistance and issue resolution.
Here’s what you’ll need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in NetApp solution and/or other technology.
• Solid understanding of storage infrastructure, including the ability to identify and explain differences between aggregates, plexes, RAID types, and RAID groups.
• Knowledgeable with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery events (Metro Cluster, Snapmirror BC, Snapmirror SVM). **
• Manage Active Directory Users and Computers for access control and authentication. **
