Ivalua Functional Consultant
As an Ivalua Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, technology-driven solutions in procurement transformation projects. You’ll work closely with clients to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and implement best practices within the Ivalua platform. Your ability to blend technical expertise, business understanding, and clear communication will be essential in building trusted relationships and driving meaningful outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business—someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with procurement stakeholders, and designing scalable, reliable solutions using Ivalua.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Work with some of the biggest iValua clients in large global implementation projects.
2. Lead or support the technical implementation of Ivalua Source-to-Pay (S2P) modules, including design, configuration and testing
3. Translate business requirements into functional designs.
4. Utilize your technical expertise in iValua and other, by designing and configuring features supported by iValua best practice solutions.
5. Collaborate with functional consultants and client stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
6. Participate in system design sessions, data mapping, integration development, and testing phases.
7. Identify opportunities to improve system performance and delivery efficiency.
8. Support deployment activities and provide hypercare assistance post go-live.
9. Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior technical resources.
10. Stay updated on platform enhancements and bring new ideas to improve delivery practices and solution robustness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting Ivalua (Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, or Procure-to-Pay modules).
2. Ivalua Level 2 certification, ideally also Level 3, in any of the following areas—S2C, P2P, SQL, or Integrations—would be a strong plus.
3. Understanding of S2P process flows, procurement operations, and supplier lifecycle management.
4. Familiarity with common enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa (a plus).
5. Experience working on SQL and other databases
6. Experience in web-based software development and software configuration will be an advantage.
7. Proven experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking—able to navigate ambiguity and find structure.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to translate complex technical issues into simple language.
10. Collaborative and proactive—someone who takes initiative and contributes ideas without waiting to be asked.
11. Passionate about learning—stays up to date on platform changes and industry trends.
12. Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
13. Background on Sales/Solutioning and Consulting
