Job Description

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Qualifications

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support and troubleshooting for critical business systems. Your typical day will involve identifying and solving issues within multiple components of these systems, ensuring their smooth operation and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. - Monitor and maintain the performance of critical business systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration. - Provide technical support and assistance to end-users. - Document and communicate solutions to technical problems. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. - Assist in the implementation of system enhancements and upgrades. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration. - Strong understanding of database concepts and principles. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries. - Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for databases. - Familiarity with database security and access control. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues. - Good understanding of relational database management systems. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
