Job Description

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Qualifications

Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Java Enterprise Edition, developing and implementing software solutions to address business needs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. - Develop and implement software solutions using Java Enterprise Edition. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with JavaScript, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with web application development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate. - Knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle or MySQL. - Familiarity with front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN. - Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience is required
