Qualifications
Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support and troubleshooting for critical business systems. Your typical day will involve identifying and solving issues within multiple components of these systems, ensuring their smooth operation and functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for critical business systems.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Document and maintain technical procedures and user guides.
- Assist in the implementation and deployment of system upgrades and enhancements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- Strong understanding of system administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Experience in monitoring and performance tuning of server infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- This position is based at our Cebu office.
