Job Description

Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Qualifications

Summary: As a Software Development Engineer specializing in Site Reliability Engineering, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work using your expertise in Site Reliability Engineering. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable infrastructure using Site Reliability Engineering principles. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of the system. - Automate manual processes using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Perl. - Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues. - Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for production systems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expertise in Site Reliability Engineering principles and practices. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Terraform. - Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts. - Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Perl. - Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana. Additional Information: - The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering highly scalable and reliable infrastructure. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
