Job Description

The Compliance Sr Analyst is part of the global Software Utility Services (SUS) Security and Compliance group. They will manage collaboration of service delivery and interlock functions to manage risk in SUS service delivery to an acceptable level. Help increase the level of awareness and compliance with policy and process related matters. Coordinate various certification programs and apply lessons learnt to matters requiring interventions.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate SUS representatives across various risk and compliance initiatives
  • Supervise and coordinate SUS representatives during preparation of service delivery for certification program across contracts, such as SSAE16 (International Standards for Assurance Engagements) ISAE3402 and or SOC2 audit (audit, across contracts)
  • Support service delivery in preparation for client or industry specific certification and compliance programs, such as Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Payment Card Industry (PCI)
  • Coordinates implementation and maintenance of risk self-assessment programs across service delivery, such as service delivery representation letter or SSAQ-D
  • Conducts and supervises reviews to assess the service delivery control environment and evaluate adherence to client identified contractual requirements, Accenture policies and standards
  • Monitors and provides assurance that the identified findings and actions are tracked to closure and report to leadership there on
  • Provide subject matter expertise to service delivery on risk, compliance, control and information security during the sales cycle and throughout the delivery
  • Facilitates sharing of learning from matters requiring interventions, such as incidents, initiate process improvements and updates to policies, standards and procedures
  • Liaise with other Accenture functions, including Internal Audit, Global Asset Protection/CIRT, Information Security, and Risk and Quality Management/Quality Assurance, Legal/Contract Management, Policy teams, SUS delivery centers, sales teams, and Accenture clients to ensure the risk management process is efficient and effective
  • Assessing, establishing and supporting Client Data Protection (CDP) controls and standards on client engagements to reduce business risk to Accenture, our clients and our clients’ clients
  • Supports the CDP needs of the Software Utility Services (SUS) department. The Compliance Specialist will be part of a global SUS team responsible for creating, maintaining, testing, and implementing comprehensive CDP controls and standards
  • Confirms, manages and improves compliance with International Standard Organization(ISO), Payment Card Industry (PCI), and/or quality certifications using Accenture methodology
  • Will participate in/lead special projects as needed, and document emergency measures, policies and procedures as required
  • Focus on ensuring that the data centers, networks, operating systems, and key IT general control processes comply with internal and external control objectives
  • Oversees and reviews audit work as assigned using industry best practice audit methodology to evaluate risk, determine control objectives and verify the extent to which control techniques meet objectives
  • Devises effective and efficient tests of key controls, executes and documents audit work and concludes on the results of audit tests and overall effectiveness of controls
  • Provides consultation to internal Accenture staff on information technology matters; executes technical portions of reviews and supports the audit staff in technical skills
  • Escalates audit issues to Accenture senior management; interacts with line and senior management to develop and negotiate solutions; follows up on issues with management and team leadership to ensure carry through of resolutions
  • Develops and maintains strong client relationships focused on enhancing the overall effectiveness within their assigned area
  • Monitors work to ensure all audits comply with industry standards and regulations
  • May participate in the review of system development or business process projects; provides guidance to teams on risk and control issues

Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years’ experience with industry security and control requirements (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SSAE16, etc.)
  • 1 or more years of specialized technical audit or related experience
  • 1 or more years’ experience and knowledge of Institute of Internal Auditor standards
  • 2 or more years’ experience working as part of a global service delivery organization
  • 2 or more years’ experience working with process improvement initiatives
  • 2 or more years’ experience providing performance management reporting (metrics & status reporting)
  • 2 or more years’ experience in Statistical Analysis and Reporting
  • Proficient experience with all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification in or in progress towards CISA, CISSP, ISA or related certification

Must Have Skills:

  • Security Operations, Security Design and Analysis, and Risk Review
  • Experience developing/maintaining security policies
  • Working knowledge of current data and computer security principles and existing computing and communications infrastructure.
  • Ability to proficiently operate computer software and hardware for data manipulation, analysis and presentation purposes. 
  • Ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with team members and business partners.
  • Ability to logically analyze and solve narrowly defined business problems. 
  • Ability to listen and orally communicate ideas and information effectively.
  • Understand client requirements and processes/procedures used to deliver service following standard company practices.
  • Ensure team understands key process input and output requirements.   Ensure team monitors and controls them as necessary to meet performance and customer requirements.
  • Ensure process documentation is kept current and when process changes are necessary, the prescribed change control process is followed.
  • Create reports following standard company practices to capture process metrics to be used for process management and process improvement activities.
  • Create baseline metrics for process performance and track/report on quantifiable process improvements.
  • Provide daily performance status through posted and/or shared communications regarding client requests, team performance metrics and company operating standards.

Preferred Skills: Work Experience

  • Formal training in security principles is helpful. 
  • Experience with encryption techniques and developing/maintaining security policies a plus.
