Job Title: Palo Alto Firewall Administrator Job Description: Responsibilities: Firewall Configuration and Management: Configure and manage Palo Alto Networks firewall solutions to enforce security policies Implement and maintain firewall rules and policies based on security best practices and organizational requirements Regularly update firewall policies to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities Network Security Monitoring: Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure the effectiveness of the firewall configurations Collaborate with the security team to analyze and investigate security events Incident Response: Respond to security incidents involving the Palo Alto Networks firewall, including investigating and mitigating security breaches Work closely with the incident response team to contain and remediate security incidents Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for firewall-related issues and troubleshoot connectivity or performance problems Collaborate with network and system administrators to resolve issues impacting the Palo Alto firewall infrastructure Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements Conduct regular security assessments to identify and address compliance gaps Documentation: Maintain documentation related to firewall configurations, policies, and procedures Develop and update standard operating procedures for firewall management and incident response Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to implement integrated security solutions Work with vendors and support teams to address technical issues and implement new features Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
