Project Role Description : Analyzes, develops, and improves workflows. Identifies inefficiencies in existing processes and proposes solutions to optimize effectiveness. Collaborates with business users to identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases. Design continuous monitoring and feedback collection to help them refine processes over time.

Summary:
The aim of the position is to act as a disciplinary (and whererelevant
a functional) manager for a team of IT specialist and ensure the
capacity of a team. Team Lead works in close contact with product
lead and acts as a link between a product organization (product
lead) and his / her team to ensure delivery of agreed product goals.
In addition to disciplinary responsibility the position has functional
responsibility of (depending on the team).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Being disciplinary and functional Team Lead for xxx team.
- Run and maintain daily processes in an effective and efficient manner ensuring that the team objectives are achieved on time: - Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Evaluate processes and make recommendations for improvements
- Define team targets jointly with product lead based on agreed OKR s. Monitor team performance and report on metrics - Participate in recruitment process and responsible for onboarding new team members. Ensures that new team member has undergone training successfully - Manage workload and reporting: planning and organizing work assignments, resource and capacity planning - Responsible for defining team members technical as well as personal development needs and support development of team and individual team members by using coaching style - Regular performance and potential review of the team members including defining targets on team and individual level.
Following up on targets and personal development on regular basis
- Plan team member vacations and keep an overview of their usage
- Support further development of the solutions entrusted to the department of their usage.
- Management of and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Overall responsibility for Tallinn related development activities
- Other one-time tasks assigned by Manager
Professional & Technical Skills:
Degree in computer science or similar or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in team management with full disciplinary responsibility, preferably in IT
- Proactivity and ability to perform duties without immediate supervision, to exercise sound judgment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of the staff and stakeholders
- Team-oriented work style and good leadership skills
- Good understanding of IT product organization
- Relevant technical knowledge and experience in the products managed by the team
- High level of written and spoken English
- Readiness to travel on regular basis
NB, requirements coming from functional responsibilities to be
added depending on the area of work.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Software Product Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
