Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect of daily activities, along with continuous evaluation and improvement of software processes and outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and technical expertise.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements and new technology adoption.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to custom software development.
- Experience in managing software development lifecycles with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with integration of simulation tools within broader manufacturing and production environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
