Job Description
Work with program stakeholders across IT to ensure delivery change documentation is published to expected quality standards in line with release timescales
Ensure technical resources are available and have been correctly provisioned in line with release timescales
Business change managers to ensure key stakeholders and user communities are engaged and are correctly informed prior to change deployments
Work with program release leads, developers and technical teams to create, test and stage production deployment data transports for all approved changes
Chair failed change reviews and ensure Group IT Delivery lessons and actions are captured, understood and managed with the appropriate process owner
Apply Service Transition principles and mentor staff across the program to continually improve the Service Transition capability
Identify, influence and lead the implementation of best practice initiatives that improve on the efficiency and effectiveness of the Service Transition function
Qualifications
3 years experience in implementing and shaping change, release or service management strategies and processes
Experience of working for a consultancy or other professional services organization
Significant project life cycle experience in multiple disciplines such as QA, business analysis, change management, release management, project management and systems training
Strong stakeholder management skills
Proven experience of leading, coaching and mentoring people in change, release or service transition principles
Strong interpersonal and team building skills
