Job Title – IMU Digital Commerce Manager

Management Level: 07 – Manager

Location: NCR / Mumbai / Bangalore

Must have skills: Digital commerce strategy & execution, Category / portfolio management, Customer experience optimization, D2C/Marketplaces/Omnichannel/Quick Commerce, Data driven decision making, Stakeholder Management across cross-functional teams, Team leadership & delivery ownership

Good to have skills: Working knowledge of digital marketing, Product management, understanding of emerging technologies, AI / GenAI applications in commerce, Commerce platforms & MarTech exposure

Job Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Digital Commerce Manager to own and drive performance across D2C, marketplaces, omnichannel and quick commerce platforms. This role requires strong business ownership with hands-on experience in running digital commerce or a major category, with accountability for revenue, traffic, conversion, AOV/ATV, and customer experience metrics. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams across business, marketing, technology, design, supply chain, customer support, etc. to deliver seamless digital shopping experiences and drive revenue growth. Product management capability is a valuable additional skill, and exposure to AI / GenAI or advanced analytics-led initiatives is a strong differentiator.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end performance of digital commerce and drive growth for our clients
  • Deliver revenue growth by enhancing the customer experience and optimizing for conversion, engagement and retention
  • Lead and manage a team to deliver business outcomes
  • Define and execute category strategies (assortment, discovery, content, visibility, etc.)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enable and deliver experiences / journeys
  • Use data, insights, and experimentation to prioritize and solve problems
  • Stay up-to-date with e-commerce and digital trends to guide innovation
  • Contribute to product roadmap and platform enhancements where applicable
  • Champion best practices in UX and customer journey design

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of digital commerce ecosystems and customer journeys
  • Strong grasp of digital commerce KPIs and operating levers
  • Ability to translate customer needs into functional and technical execution plans
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in A/B testing and data visualization
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with execution discipline
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and product analytics dashboards
  • Experience working in matrixed or global organizations is a plus
