✨ Your Role – Functional Analyst
As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging business needs and technical delivery within a complex and mission‑critical environment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical squads to ensure the correct interpretation and translation of requirements into functional specifications.
Main Missions:
Conduct functional analysis, gather business needs, and translate them into clear functional specifications.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure functional consistency during design, development, and testing phases.
Define and maintain functional documentation, workflows, and user journeys.
Support UAT phases, validate deliverables with business stakeholders, and ensure functional quality across the product lifecycle.
📌 Responsibilities (Technical & Functional)
Analyze business processes and challenge requirements to ensure feasibility and alignment with product strategy.
Provide functional expertise to developers and testers, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements.
Participate in backlog grooming, functional design sessions, and solution validation workshops.
Perform functional testing, defect classification, and support root-cause analysis.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying functional enhancements and optimization opportunities.
Use tools such as UML/BPMN, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional diagrams.
📍 Location & Work Mode
The role is based in Brussels, in a hybrid work model combining on‑site presence and remote days for optimal collaboration and balance.
It is essential to reside in Belgium and hold a valid work permit.
🎓 Profile & Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role.
English C1 level or bilingual (Dutch is a plus).
French C1 level or bilingual
Minimum Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in IT, engineering, business analysis, or related field.
Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Experience in large‑scale or complex environments is an asset.
