Position Overview

Lead the evolution of our Cargo WebApp — a cutting-edge, client-facing dashboard platform for real-time trade analytics, capacity forecasting, and optimization. As Innovation Specialist, you'll spearhead development, client customization, and innovation, blending technical leadership with strategic client engagement to deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end development and enhancement of Cargo WebApp dashboards, integrating analytics, visualizations, and user-friendly interfaces.

  • Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, demo solutions, and iterate on custom features for airlines, forwarders, and logistics leaders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (dev, data, design) to deploy updates, optimize performance, and incorporate ML-driven insights.

  • Conduct advanced data analysis to uncover trends, refine models, and elevate dashboard accuracy for capacity and trade optimization.

  • Champion innovation by prototyping new features, algorithms, and integrations (e.g., real-time APIs, predictive viz).

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and technical specs; mentor junior team members on best practices.

  • Present insights and roadmaps in client meetings, ensuring seamless adoption and measurable business value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related quantitative field.

  • 4+ years in data analytics, or dashboard/webapp roles

  • Expertise in analytics visualization tools (Power BI) and dashboard development.

  • Proficiency in SQL, database management (MSSQL), and APIs for real-time data.

  • Experience with optimization models, ML techniques, or Agile/Scrum is desired.

  • Proven client communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts into business impact.

  • Self-starter with leadership potential, thriving in fast-paced, international teams under deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) for scalable webapps.

  • Knowledge of air freight/trade data or supply chain analytics.

  • Based in Kuala Lumpur with hybrid work flexibility.
