Job Summary:
Accenture Data & AI is seeking an experienced and client-focused Consultant – Data Consulting and Design to join our Banking practice. This role will support the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data modernization and data product initiatives, with a strong focus on data modeling, governance, and business-aligned architecture. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of data modeling concepts and some exposure to the banking domain, to build scalable data solutions for analytics, reporting, regulatory, and operational use cases.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the design of data models (conceptual through physical) across analytics, reporting, regulatory, and operational use cases
- Assist in developing and maintaining data products, including contributing to data definitions and reusable models
- Work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data engineers, Business Analysts, and Data Scientists to ensure effective delivery
- Apply banking domain knowledge to support data-related use cases
- Contribute to team learning and knowledge sharing
Professional & Technical Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in data-related roles such as Data Modeling, Business Analysis, Report modernization in Banking domain
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and familiarity with tools like Erwin, ER Studio, or similar
- Basic to moderate understanding of banking domain concepts, preferably knowledge of one or more in Core Banking platform/products
- Exposure to One or More cloud technologies (AZURE, AWS, Databricks, Snowflakes) is a plus but not a mandatory skill
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into structured data solutions
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data Modeling, SQL, Core banking understanding
Educational Qualification: Masters in Technical field, Data Science or MBA
