We Are:

Accenture Strategy — where bold ideas meet relentless execution. We sit at the intersection of business strategy and technological transformation, helping the world's most ambitious companies not just adapt to change, but define it. In an era where AI is rewriting every industry playbook, we equip C-suite leaders with clarity, confidence, and competitive edge to move fast and win. We don't just advise — we co-create the future alongside our clients, embedding AI-driven insights into the strategies that shape markets, disrupt incumbents, and unlock new growth engines. If you want to work where strategy is anything but theoretical, you're in the right place.

You Are:

A Strategy leader with deep professional experience working across the Software and Platforms industry — and a genuine obsession with what AI makes possible. You see around corners. You translate complex, fast-moving dynamics into sharp, actionable strategies that clients can execute at scale. You are not just keeping up with the AI revolution — you are actively shaping how your clients lead it. You thrive in ambiguity, energize the teams around you, and build the kind of trusted client relationships that last well beyond a single engagement. Whether you are advising a hyperscaler on their next platform play or helping an AI-native startup define its go-to-market model, you bring the intellectual rigor, creative instinct, and human connection to make it real.  As a Principal Director you are a true Subject Matter Expert, bringing deep domain judgment that shapes direction and ambition.

The Work:

  • Bring rare, deep expertise in one or more of the industry's most consequential domains — Data Centers, Advertising, Partnerships, or Data & AI — and translate that knowledge into strategies that move markets.

  • Serve as the senior strategic advisor our most important clients trust when the stakes are highest — leading AI-powered transformation engagements that redefine operating models, unlock new revenue, and establish lasting competitive advantage.

  • Set the strategic agenda for AI adoption across the Software and Platforms sector — advising clients on how to infuse AI across their products, platforms, and business operations to drive scale, differentiation, and growth.

  • Crack the industry's most complex challenges — platform scalability, ecosystem monetization, AI-driven developer enablement — by building ironclad business cases and delivering insights that inspire confident, decisive action.

  • Build and sustain Accenture's most strategic client relationships at the executive level — becoming the trusted thought partner that C-suite leaders call before they call anyone else.

  • Define the intellectual frontier of our practice — lead the creation of breakthrough thought leadership, represent Accenture at premier industry forums, and help shape the future of the Software and Platforms landscape.

  • Develop the next generation of senior strategists — invest in the talent pipeline, model what great looks like, and build a team that consistently punches above its weight.

  • Meaningfully contribute to work products at critical moments (e.g., problem framing, key POVs, executive narratives).

  • Distinguish your contribution as selective and high‑impact.

  • Elevate thinking, challenge assumptions, and materially strengthen outcomes when stakes are highest.

  • Travel as needed, up to 80%.

Here's What You Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience consulting for or working at a Software or Platform company, or a start-up.

Bonus Points If:

  • You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree.

  • Strong client communication skills with a proven ability to influence and inspire senior executives.

  • A proven track record of delivery on complex, high-impact client engagements where AI played a central role.

  • Hands-on experience applying generative AI, machine learning, or AI-powered platforms to solve real business problems — for clients or within your own organization.

  • Have worked in a product, marketing, or strategy role at a leading technology company or venture capital firm.

  • Prior experience driving insights using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).

  • Familiarity with AI development ecosystems, LLM-based tooling, or AI platform strategies is a strong plus.
