S&C Global Network - Industry X Digital Transformation Artwork and Labelling (DERD)
We are looking for a Digital Transformation Analyst / Consultant to support the design and delivery of technology-enabled transformation initiatives for our clients. This role focuses on analysing business processes, defining digital requirements, and implementing systems that improve operational efficiency, compliance, and governance.
In addition, the role will support digitalisation initiatives within Artwork and Labelling Management processes, including workflow automation, document control, regulatory compliance, and system implementation (i.e., Artwork Management Systems and related platforms).
This role is well‑suited for professionals who possess IT and engineering consulting foundations, paired with an interest or background in regulated documentation environments such as packaging artwork, labelling, or product information management.
Primary responsibilities:
- Engage business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and digital opportunities
- Conduct current-state (“as-is”) and future-state (“to-be”) process analysis
- Lead requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Develop business requirements documents, functional specifications, and user stories
- Support selection, design, and implementation of digital solutions (workflow systems, ERP, PLM, cloud platforms, automation tools, analytics)
- Configure, test, and deploy systems (SIT/UAT support)
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and executive presentations
- Track risks, issues, timelines, and deliverables
- Support change management, training, and user adoption
Secondary responsibilities / specialization:
- Conduct process assessments and fit‑gap analyses for artwork and labeling transformation programs
- Design future‑state processes (creation, review, approval, and release), governance models, and workflow enhancements for artwork and labeling operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, Packaging, Supply Chain) and recommend improvements for efficiency, compliance, and traceability
- Contribute to the design, configuration, and deployment of artwork & labeling platforms (e.g., Esko, Loftware, TEKLYNX, BARTENDER)
- Prepare functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration requirements
- Support integration discussions with upstream/downstream systems such as PLM, ERP, RIM, QM (SAP, Siemens, PTC, Dassault etc.)
- Support SIT / UAT planning, execution, defect analysis, and sign‑off activities as part of implementation cycles
- Validate end‑to‑end artwork & labeling workflows, ensuring alignment with business requirements
- Assist project managers with tracking deliverables, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
Other responsibilities:
- Support preparation of business development materials including proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and solution documents
- Assist in scoping projects and effort estimation to determine realistic project schedules and budgets
- Prepare client case studies and success stories to demonstrate value delivered to clients
- Develop internal knowledge assets, playbooks, and training materials

Primary skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA are highly desirable
Experience:
- 3 to 6 years in IT consulting, business analysis, digital transformation, or system implementation roles
- Experience working on cross-functional technology or process improvement projects
- Exposure to enterprise platforms (ERP, PLM, workflow tools, cloud systems, automation solutions)
- Technical Skills
- Requirements gathering & stakeholder facilitation : Gather, analyse, and validate business and system requirements through workshops and interviews
- Process mapping (BPMN/Visio or equivalent) : Document as-is/to-be workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Business analysis & functional documentation : Develop business requirement documentations, functional specifications, and user stories to guide solution delivery
- Testing support (SIT/UAT) : Prepare test cases, coordinate testing, and track defects to ensure requirements are met
- Basic data analysis (Excel/BI or equivalent) : Perform data analysis and reporting to support insights and decisions
- Familiarity with agile or waterfall methodologies (JIRA, Microsoft Project or equivalent) : Work within structured delivery frameworks to manage timelines and deliverables
Secondary skills:
- Familiarity with controlled documentation environments (e.g., FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals, Manufacturing)
- Experience delivering mid to large‑scale label and artwork management implementations using platforms such as Loftware, ESKO, BarTender, and Prisym 360, with integrations across ERP, RIM, and PLM systems for compliance and business continuity
- Proficient in integrating labeling systems with SAP ERP, MES, and e‑LIMS using protocols such as FTP, HTTPS, and TCP/IP
- Experienced in migrating label templates, printer configurations, and user access roles
Core competencies:
- Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, with strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Collaborative team player with a positive, solution‑focused attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and documentation (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Skilled in working with diverse cultures, communication styles, and global teams
- Consulting mindset with client-facing confidence with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
