Pega Technical Architect (SSA) – Build & Shape a Growing Practice

Business Architecture Manager | Senior Level | Full time
Job No. R00309723 | Stockholm
Apply for this job

At Accenture, there is no “typical” day — and this is no typical architect role.

We are building and scaling our Pega capability within our Technology Delivery Unit, with a strong focus on Financial Services (banking & insurance). This is a rare opportunity to join early, shape the practice, influence how we deliver, and play a visible role in growing our market presence.

We are looking for a Pega Technical Architect (Senior System Architect) who wants to go beyond delivery — someone excited to lead, build, and contribute to business growth.

What Makes This Role Different

This is not a pure developer position.

You will

  • Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale Pega solutions
  • Design solutions across lending, KYC/AML, payments, onboarding, and regulatory use cases
  • Act as a founding technical leader, setting standards and mentoring teams
  • Contribute to business development and pre-sales (solution shaping, estimations, client workshops, proposals)
  • Help define our go-to-market approach and grow the Pega practice locally
  • You’ll combine deep technical expertise with client-facing impact and strategic influence.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of hands-on Pega experience in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong experience as a Pega Senior System Architect (SSA)
  • SSA certification preferred (LSA is a plus)
  • Proven Financial Services delivery experience
  • Strong knowledge of Pega architecture, integrations, performance, and guardrails
  • Comfortable in client-facing discussions and pre-sales environments
  • Motivated to build, mentor, and grow a capability — not just deliver code
  • We accept only candidates who are resident in Sweden

What’s in it for you

  • A foundational role where you help shape a growing Pega capability
  • Continuous learning and certification support (Pega, cloud, architecture)
  • Mentoring and career guidance with a clear path toward Lead System Architect or solution leadership roles
  • Performance management focused on growth, impact, and career progression
  • Flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance
  • Extensive wellbeing program, MyHealth, supporting sustainable performance
  • Opportunities to engage in corporate citizenship, volunteering, and Inclusion & Diversity networks
  • Collaboration with international expert teams while retaining local ownership and influence

If you're looking for a role where you can combine architecture, leadership, and business impact, this is your opportunity to shape something meaningful from the ground up — backed by Accenture’s global network and expertise.
