POSITION DESCRIPTION

Accenture Advanced Technology center is looking for technology enthusiasts.

Develop applications with a cloud-first mindset, experience end-to-end project delivery using Agile and DevOps and help shaping innovative technologies in our state-of-the-art Accenture Labs.

As senior developer you will have the opportunity to become architect (if you are not on that level already) and act as team leader. You will be mentoring juniors and mediors within your team, and act as SME in some areas to support your growth in your career and make our projects successful.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Work in a team to design and code custom-build solutions based on Java technologies (mainly Spring, occasionally Java EE) and related frameworks

  • Integrate technical and application components    

  • Follow defined methodology and standards to create a software of high quality

  • Guide and coach your colleagues

  • Take opportunity to work with Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and other modern technologies

  • Build and maintain a cloud-native web application on AWS and custom Java Development frameworks

  • Iterative prototyping for key pages to optimize and simplify the user experience

  • Be part of a community focusing on Agile delivery and principles        

  • Enable rapid Development and cost – efficient application by using cloud – native technologies and DevOps

  • Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications in order to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experienced in Java development (5+ years of experience)

  • Proficient with Spring framework

  • You have solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases

  • Experienced in technical design and solution architecture

  • University educated (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field)

  • You communicate well in English (at least B2 level)

  • Fluent in Slovak (C2 level)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with frontend development (JavaScript, React, Angular, or similar)

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization

  • Experience in team and project management
