Senior GenAI Engineer – LLMs & RAG
As a Senior AI Engineer in our Data & AI team, you will:
- Design and build scalable GenAI pipelines using modern orchestration frameworks and cloud services.
- Manage full RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines: ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector storage, retrieval, and generation.
- Integrate and manage foundational models (FMs) from platforms like Amazon Bedrock and OpenAI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and operationalize AI models in production environments.
The position is based in Madrid, Barcelona, Coruña, Málaga, Sevilla in a hybrid work model, combining remote work with in-office collaboration to foster team synergy.
You must reside in Spain and have a valid work permit.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy end-to-end AI solutions using LLMs, LangChain/LangGraph, and cloud-native tools.
- Apply ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) to solve real-world problems.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability following software engineering best practices.
- Monitor and optimize performance of deployed models and pipelines.
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience with LangChain or LangGraph for GenAI orchestration.
- Deep understanding of LLM fundamentals: Transformers, attention mechanisms, embeddings, tokenization.
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Azure AI Studio or Amazon Bedrock.
- Strong experience with RAG pipelines and OpenAI APIs.
- Familiarity with ML libraries: scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy.
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2/C1 level).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Responsible AI and Guardrails.
- Experience with Amazon SageMaker, semantic search tools (Kendra, OpenSearch).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
- Exposure to CI/CD and MLOps practices.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
- Contributions to the open-source AI community.
