Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the defined requirements. The position demands proactive communication and problem-solving to guide the team and maintain alignment with project goals, while serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Assist junior professionals by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and master data management processes.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Master Data Governance solutions to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP MDG and other enterprise systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to master data quality and consistency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
