Establish audit trails, compliance reporting dashboards, and periodic governance review cadences.
Technical Delivery & Implementation
Lead hands-on implementation of Purview retention policies, sensitivity labels, DLP policies, and adaptive protection across M365 workloads.
Configure and validate Teams retention policies including 1:1 chats, group chats, channel messages, and meeting content.
Conduct Purview pilot for Exchange Online retention with clear success criteria, rollback plan, and comparison benchmarks against AvePoint.
Integrate retention and governance automation with Power Automate, Microsoft Graph API, and PowerShell where applicable.
Advisory & Enablement
Act as the technical authority and escalation point for all data retention and governance matters within the DWS M365 practice.
Mentor and upskill the delivery team on Purview capabilities, retention policy design patterns, and compliance best practices.
Produce technical design documents, solution architecture decks, and runbooks for operational handover.
Present governance strategy and progress to client stakeholders and leadership with executive-level communication.
