Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific needs. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project activities, coordinating efforts across various teams, and ensuring that the application development aligns with project goals. The position demands continuous engagement with stakeholders to facilitate smooth progress and timely delivery of solutions, while overseeing the technical aspects and overall project execution with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Drive collaboration among cross-functional groups to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Project Management (PM), Program Project Management.
- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation within Workday environments.
- Ability to manage complex project lifecycles, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Experience in coordinating with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Workday Project Management (PM).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
