Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable application. As a senior member, you will guide technical architecture, review code, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product managers to deliver high-quality web applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust Ruby on Rails applications.
Architecture: Lead architectural decisions for new features and system improvements, focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
API & Backend: Build efficient RESTful APIs and integrate multiple data sources.
Mentorship & Code Review: Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers to enhance team productivity.
Database Management: Design and optimize complex database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Testing & Debugging: Write automated tests (RSpec) and debug complex, production-level issues.


Professional & Technical Skills:
Experience: 7-10 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of Ruby, Rails MVC, and Active Record.
Strong Proficiency in Python
Strong Proficiency on working with orchestration and configuration management tools Puppet/ Ansible/Chef etc.
Experience with front-end technologies (React, Vue.js, Hotwire/Turbo).
Databases: Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Tools: Proficient in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Testing: Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like RSpec.
Architecture: Experience with microservices, caching strategies (Redis), and background processing (Sidekiq)


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Ruby on Rails.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
