Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that project requirements are met, facilitating discussions to address challenges, and guiding your team in implementing effective solutions. You will also engage in strategic planning sessions to align project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved throughout the development process. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and efficiency within the team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-7+ years experience in data/analytics engineering
-Led technical teams of 4-8+ people
-Deliver technical solutions that will meet the business requirements of our stakeholders This will entail analyzing developing, testing and deploying the appropriate solution through the development life-cycle
-Ability to pick new technology quickly and deliver
-Produce deliverables that follow the development standards and principles, on time
-Produce a detailed breakdown of development tasks on projects
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Excellent GCP, Big Query SQL skills
- Good experience on Python scripting
- Experience on Airflow and Unix shell scripting
- In depth understanding of large scale data, such as data warehouses and their best practice and principles of managing them
- Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and has a proven ability to influence technical decisions in a fast-moving commercial environment
- Experience/Knowledge of GCP IAM, Cloud function and stack driver
- Any visualization tools (basic understanding)
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
