Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of innovative technology solutions tailored for emerging industries and products. Your typical day will involve interpreting system requirements and translating them into detailed design specifications, ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of various stakeholders while adhering to best practices in software engineering. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine project objectives and deliver high-quality software solutions that drive business success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and independently deliver end-to-end implementations of Blue Yonder Enterprise Planning solutions.
- Drive requirement gathering workshops, translate business needs into functional and technical design documents, and define scalable solution architecture.
- Configure planning models, forecasting parameters, supply heuristics, and optimization settings aligned with business processes.
- Manage complete project lifecycle including design, build, SIT, UAT, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Design and oversee system integrations with ERP platforms such as SAP and Oracle, including data mapping, ETL processes, and validation.
- Lead data migration, master data setup, batch scheduling, and planning engine configuration.
- Provide best-practice recommendations in demand forecasting, supply planning, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership while managing risks, timelines, and deliverables independently.
- Prepare test strategies, conduct solution demonstrations, facilitate user training, and support cutover planning.
- Bring 6+ years of supply chain planning experience with at least two full-cycle Blue Yonder implementations, strong SQL/data skills, and excellent client-facing communication abilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Enterprise Planning.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Aftermarket.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Experience in integrating enterprise planning solutions with existing systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to software applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in BlueYonder Enterprise Planning.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
