Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions that cater to specific business needs. Your typical day will involve designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Manage incidents, problems, and change requests related to revenue recognition, contract processing, and accounting postings within SLA timelines.
-Support RAR processes including contract identification, performance obligations, revenue allocation, and revenue posting.
-Analyze and resolve production issues related to revenue recognition errors, reconciliation mismatches, and posting failures.
-Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring RAR issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
-Support integration touchpoints between RAR, SD, FI-GL, and upstream source systems.
-Assist in minor enhancements, testing, and validation of changes impacting RAR configurations and revenue processes.
-Support period-end close activities related to revenue recognition, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
-Maintain process documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles for ATR RAR AMS support.


Professional & Technical Skills:
-Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
-10-11 years of experience in SAP Finance / ATR, with hands-on exposure to SAP RAR.
-Experience working in AMS / Production Support environments with SLA-driven delivery.
-Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (IFRS 15 / ASC 606).
-Experience supporting global finance and reporting stakeholders.


Additional Information:
-Strong functional expertise in SAP RAR including contract processing and revenue recognition.
-Hands-on experience with RAR integration with SD and FI-GL.
-Understanding of financial close, reconciliations, and revenue reporting processes.
-Proficiency in incident management, RCA, testing, and documentation in an AMS setup.
-Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
