Summary:
This role is for a Simulation Engineer with deep expertise in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation or Dassault DELMIA, applied to domains such as Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or general Manufacturing. You will develop discrete event simulation models to optimize production processes, focusing on throughput analysis, bottleneck identification, and material flow optimization. Your work will support Industry 4.0 initiatives, integrating simulations with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and product lifecycle management (PLM) platforms to drive efficiency and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Build and validate discrete event simulation models for manufacturing processes, including assembly lines, machining, and quality control, using Siemens Tecnomatix or Dassault DELMIA.
2. Perform throughput analysis to identify bottlenecks in production workflows and propose optimization strategies.
3. Conduct material flow analysis to reduce waste, optimize inventory levels, and improve production line efficiency.
4. Integrate with MES (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Apriso) or PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Enovia) to align with production and design workflows.
5. Develop simulation-based proposals to support manufacturing process improvements, such as line balancing or equipment utilization.
6. Present actionable insights to manufacturing teams and leadership to drive decision-making.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills:
1. Expertise in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation or Dassault DELMIA, with hands-on experience in modelling manufacturing processes.
2. Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations in Automotive, Aerospace, CPG, or general Manufacturing, including assembly, machining, and quality control.
3. Proven experience in discrete event simulation, throughput analysis, and bottleneck identification, delivering measurable process improvements.
4. Ability to analyse complex production data and translate it into simulation models and actionable insights.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings.

Good to Have Skills:
1. Familiarity with additional simulation tools like Flexsim or Anylogic for cross-domain applications.
2. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, digital twins, or smart manufacturing systems.
3. Proficiency in programming languages like Python or MATLAB for custom simulation scripting or data analysis.
4. Tooling / Platform Exposure:
Simulation Tools: Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, Dassault DELMIA (e.g., DELMIA Quest).
5. Manufacturing Systems: Siemens Opcenter, Apriso, SAP ME, Rockwell FactoryTalk.
6. Data Analysis Tools: Python (Pandas, NumPy), MATLAB, Minitab.
7. CAD/CAE Tools: CATIA, NX, SolidWorks.

Additional Info:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. Certifications in simulation tools (e.g., Siemens Tecnomatix Certification) is preferred(Not mandatory).
3. This position is based at Bengaluru or Pune
4. Candidate should have minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in related field
