Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled Monitoring SME with deep expertise in DataDog and integration with ITOM / ITSM. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring templates for infrastructure and applications, design and develop dashboards for real-time visibility into infrastructure health and application performance.

Must Have Skills:

- Datadog Product Expertise (Infra, APM, Metric collection, Ingestion, Dashboard creation and optimization)
- Python / Ansible


Good to Have Skills:

- ServiceNow ITOM
- AWS/Azure Cloud Knowledge

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy Datadog in distributed environment and integration with ITOM /ITSM.

Setup Metric, Anomaly, Composite and other custom monitors to support Infrastructure, Application, and Business services.

Configure Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Real User Monitoring (RUM) to track service latency, throughput (RPS/QPS), and end-user experience of various applications.

Able to Resolve Datadog environment and observability related issue through troubleshooting and coordination with relevant teams.

Configure and manage SLA/SLO definitions

Design and maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into service health, CMDB, and operational metrics

Technical Experience:

Minimum of 3.5 years of experience in Datadog monitoring implementation and administration ((Infra, APM, Metric collection, Ingestion, Dashboard creation and optimization). Proficiency in Python development ,ThousandEye and ITOM will be added advantage.

Professional Attributes:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification and Certification:

Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
