What would you do? The Delivery Lead – Senior Manager is responsible for end to end ownership of Commercial Banking underwriting and credit operations, supporting large corporate and mid corporate lending portfolios. The role combines deep credit domain expertise, operational leadership, risk governance, and client stakeholder management, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high quality underwriting services aligned with the bank’s strategic growth objectives.
What are we looking for? Primary Skill Commercial Banking – Credit Underwriting (Mid Corporate & Large Corporate) Qualifications • Master of Financial Management • Master of Commerce (M.Com) • Master of Business Administration (MBA) Years of Experience 15–20 years of progressive experience in Commercial Banking, Credit & Underwriting Operations Language Proficiency Business English (Written and Verbal) • Expected / Base Case • Downside / Stress Case • Management Case • Build and analyze enterprise valuation models, assessing total enterprise value across equity and debt structures. • Apply scenario based modeling to evaluate covenant capacity, downside protection, and risk mitigants. • Risk Assessment & Credit Decisioning • Conduct in depth credit risk assessments across borrower, facility, structure, collateral, and industry dimensions. • Identify policy deviations and underwriting exceptions, recommend approve / decline / counter offer decisions with clear risk rationale. • Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory documentation requirements. • Portfolio & Client Management • Manage complex commercial credit portfolios, including ongoing monitoring, interim reviews, covenant compliance, and hygiene checks. •Leadership & Operational Excellence Strategic Leadership • Define and execute the operational strategy for Commercial Banking underwriting aligned to client and firm objectives. • Translate strategic direction from senior leadership into near term and long term execution plans. • Key Responsibilities • Credit Underwriting & Financial Analysis • Lead comprehensive financial statement analysis, performance benchmarking, and multi year trend analysis to assess the creditworthiness of mid corporate and large corporate borrowers. • Oversee preparation and review of Credit Assessment Memos (CAMs) and underwriting submissions for annual reviews, renewals, amendments, and new originations. • Evaluate borrower, guarantor, and group level financials, including repayment capacity, leverage, liquidity, cash flow sustainability, and stress scenarios. • Perform detailed industry and peer analysis, incorporating macro economic outlooks and sector specific risks. • Drive financial spreading and analysis using standardized Excel based templates aligned to regulatory and client requirements (10 K, 10 Q, audited and interim financials). • Forecasting, Valuation & Modeling • Develop and review integrated financial forecast models covering 5–7 year
