What would you do? The Document Controller Lead is responsible for overseeing the document control function, ensuring accurate, timely, and secure management of all project and organizational documents. This role leads the document control team, establishes document control procedures, and ensures compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or related field Experience in document control, Strong knowledge of document control systems and standards Experience working in project-based environments Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in document management systems and MS Office Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines
Roles and Responsibilities: •Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the document control team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures and workflows Ensure proper version control, numbering, filing, archiving, and retrieval of documents Manage the document management system (DMS) and ensure data integrity Coordinate with project teams, engineering, QA/QC, vendors, and clients on document submissions Review documents for compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards Track document status, revisions, transmittals, and approvals Prepare and maintain document registers, logs, and reports Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information Train team members and project staff on document control processes Support audits and inspections by providing accurate documentation
