Microsoft Purview Engineer
- Design and implement auto-labeling policies in Microsoft Purview to automatically classify sensitive data based on content and context
- Develop and fine-tune trainable classifiers to improve detection of business-specific sensitive information
- Implement endpoint DLP policies to prevent data exfiltration from user devices, including USB and print restrictions
- Configure policy tips and user notifications to enhance user awareness and reduce accidental data sharing
- Conduct data discovery and classification scans across structured and unstructured data repositories
- Optimize DLP rule conditions and thresholds to balance security enforcement with business usability
- Define and enforce usage rights (view, edit, print, copy, forward restrictions) through Microsoft Purview DRM.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring DLP incidents and implemented preventive controls
- Integrate Microsoft Purview with existing security tools and workflows for centralized data protection management
- Support audit and compliance activities by providing detailed reports, evidence, and classification insights
- Manage sensitivity label lifecycle, including creation, modification, publishing, and retirement
- Configure label-based encryption and access controls to ensure persistent protection of sensitive files and emails
- Automate report generation and alert monitoring using compliance center dashboards and logs
- Conduct user training sessions and awareness programs to improve adoption of data protection policies
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) for secure administration of compliance tools
- Monitor and improve data classification coverage across cloud workloads
- Evaluate and test new features and updates in Microsoft Purview before production rollout
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for data protection processes
- Microsoft Purview Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in implementing and managing enterprise data protection solutions using Microsoft Purview.
- Skilled in data classification, sensitivity labeling, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Digital Rights Management (DRM) across Microsoft 365 services.
- Proven ability to reduce data leakage risks, improve classification accuracy, and support compliance initiatives through effective policy design and incident management.
- Candidate must be a Saudi National.
