WHO WE ARE

Accenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services. We offer solutions and assets across Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations, Industry X and Accenture Song.

THE WORK

  • As Salesforce Technical Architect at Accenture designs and oversees the end-to-end architecture of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with both client business objectives and enterprise technical standards.

  • You will be providing hands-on technical governance across the full project lifecycle - from discovery and design through to deployment.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for making critical decisions around platform configuration, custom development, data modeling, and third-party integrations, balancing scalability, security, and performance.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office – depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Experience: 8–12+ years in Salesforce delivery, incl. 3+ years in architecture or senior tech lead roles

  • Solution design — ability to lead end-to-end solution design across multiple clouds, orgs, and environments; own multi-org/multi-environment strategy and governance

  • Salesforce ecosystem & licensing — deep knowledge of product portfolio, editions, license types, and cost/feature trade-offs

  • Data modelling & performance — LDV strategies, cross-cloud schemas, SOQL/SOSL optimization at scale

  • Analytics & data operations — CRM Analytics, reporting architecture, data migration/quality strategies

  • Sharing & visibility — complex multi-BU sharing architectures, Apex managed sharing, territory management

  • Security & identity — Shield (encryption, event monitoring, audit trail), SSO, IdP/SP, MFA, cross-cloud identity federation

  • Integration & middleware — integration patterns, API governance, middleware (MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services), enterprise auth (OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT)

  • External platforms — working knowledge of Azure / AWS / GCP and their interplay with Salesforce

  • CI/CD & release governance — defining pipelines, branching models, quality gates (SonarQube, PMD), and release readiness across teams

  • Backup & archiving — DR strategies, archival products (Own, Odaseva, Grax, Big Objects)

  • Packaging — unlocked/managed package strategies for modular and multi-org delivery

  • Declarative vs. programmatic — setting configuration standards and enforcing best practices

  • Integrated ecosystem — experience with products commonly paired with SF (DocuSign, Conga, CPQ, ERP connectors)

  • Client-facing & workshops — confident leading design workshops, presenting architectural options and recommendations to client stakeholders, and translating business needs into technical solutions

  • Cross-team & vendor leadership — proven ability to work across multiple delivery teams and coordinate with external vendors/partners; driving architectural alignment, mentoring dev/tech leads, and owning technical governance across workstreams

  • Certifications — min. 3–4 on the Application/System Architect path; CTA journey started is a strong plus

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Hands-on comfort with LWC, Apex, SF CLI, and enterprise frameworks (fflib) for reviews and prototyping

  • Pre-sales & estimation experience (RFPs, technical due diligence)

  • Exposure to Salesforce AI (Einstein, Agentforce) and Data Cloud

  • Industry cloud experience (FSC, Health Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud)

Research indicates that some candidates, especially the most diverse ones, may hesitate to apply for positions if they don't meet all requirements. If you believe you possess the necessary skills, even if not meeting every requirement, we wholeheartedly encourage you to submit your application.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Individual support of a People Lead and a specific path of professional development, as well as the possibility of a session with a Coach.
