The client is GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION, a company engaged in the design, manufacture, and sale of vehicles and vehicle parts worldwide.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for integrating and aligning end-to-end business processes across SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules, with a strong focus on Brazil localization requirements. Your role involves researching, gathering, and synthesizing localization requirements to support decision-making across business and technology workstreams. You are expected to be a subject matter expert with deep knowledge of Brazilian tax and fiscal legislation as applied within SAP SD and MM, demonstrating influencing and advisory skills. You will take responsibility for integration design decisions, engage with multiple cross-functional teams, and provide end-to-end solutions applicable across both modules.
Master proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) with Brazilian localization is required. Master proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management with Brazilian fiscal processes is required. Expert proficiency in Business Process Mapping and cross-module integration design is required.
Lead the design and integration of SAP SD and MM processes aligned with Brazil localization standards, ensuring fiscal compliance across the full order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles.
Map and harmonize cross-functional business processes between SD and MM, identifying integration points such as stock transfers, intercompany flows, and fiscal document generation.
Collaborate with tax, legal, and finance teams to translate Brazilian regulatory requirements (e.g., SPED, EFD, Nota Fiscal eletrônica) into SAP configuration and process design.
Lead workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to validate localization solutions and ensure alignment between SD and MM functional areas.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline fiscal and operational workflows within the Brazil localization scope.
Support the development and implementation of best practices for SAP SD/MM integration, elevating delivery standards and ensuring sustainable compliance with evolving Brazilian legislation.
