Network Engineering & Architecture Manager

  • Lead enterprise network engineering and architecture for complex client environments.

  • Design and deliver secure, resilient network and cloud solutions at an architecture level.

  • Act as the primary technical advisor between clients and delivery teams.

  • Location: Perth (primary); Melbourne or Sydney (secondary).

  • Requirement: Full Australian working rights required.


Role Description
Act as the primary technical interface between the Client and Accenture, providing expert-level input across network, security, and cloud technologies. This role is accountable for delivering high‑quality network design and architecture outcomes, ensuring stable, secure, and scalable enterprise infrastructure. The role requires strong domain expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to translate complex client requirements into practical, well‑designed solutions, supported by clear and effective communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing design and architecture-level guidance across network, security, and cloud environments.

  • Lead network engineering and architecture activities covering LAN, WAN, Data Center, Cloud, Virtualization, and Network Security technologies.

  • Define, design, and recommend solutions to complex enterprise network challenges based on deep technical expertise.

  • Support service delivery engagements by ensuring solutions meet quality, performance, and reliability standards.

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand requirements, drive technical discussions, and ensure solutions are delivered on time and within agreed scope.

Technical Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching, Network Security, Wireless, Data Center, and Cloud technologies.

  • Proven background in Enterprise Network Engineering and Architecture, including service delivery environments.

Key Functional Skills

  • Enterprise Network Engineering

  • Enterprise Network Architecture, including High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD) aligned to client requirements

  • Client Service Delivery and stakeholder engagement

Key Technology Skills

  • SD-WAN, MPLS

  • Azure Cloud Networking

  • SASE solutions (Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud)

  • Firewalls, IPS, IDS

  • Cisco Wireless

  • Data Center Technologies, including Nexus platforms and VMware

Professional Attributes

  • Ability to manage workload, priorities, and deadlines independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to define requirements, develop solutions, and drive implementation.

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Clear, confident communicator capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Information Technology or Electronics & Telecommunication.

Work Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in Enterprise Network Management.

  • Minimum 5 years in a Network Engineering and/or Architecture role.
