SAP Ariba Sourcing Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on SAP Ariba Sourcing Manager with 7+ years of experience in sourcing operations and procurement technology to support a major SAP transformation initiative. This role will focus on executing sourcing events, validating procurement processes, and integrating with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Procurement modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute SAP Ariba Sourcing activities including RFP/RFQ creation, supplier engagement, bid evaluation, and award recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate sourcing requirements and optimize procurement workflows.
- Configure and test sourcing templates, scoring models, and approval workflows in Ariba.
- Ensure seamless integration of sourcing data with SAP S/4HANA for financial and procurement reporting.
- Support data migration, user training, and role-based access setup.
- Troubleshoot system/process issues and escalate critical defects.
- Maintain documentation of sourcing processes and supplier communications.
- Promote best practices in sourcing and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, workshops, and governance meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba Sourcing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills with hands-on SAP Ariba Sourcing experience.
- Proven expertise in managing RFP/RFQ events, supplier collaboration, and bid evaluation processes.
- Practical knowledge of Ariba Sourcing templates, event types, scoring models, and approval workflows.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration, particularly with Finance and Materials Management modules.
- Experience in user training, role-based access setup, and sourcing data migration activities.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve system or process issues effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology); advanced degree or certifications (e.g., SAP Ariba certifications) preferred.
