The Financial Services Delivery Lead Senior Manager specializing in Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and emerging automation technologies is a critical role at Accenture, where the Robotics Process Automation and Intelligent Automation business in Financial Services in the region is of extremely high strategic priority. The role will support the development of Accenture's RPA and Intelligent Automation offerings and will focus on the successful delivery of large scale complex RPA and Intelligent Automation engagements including programme management, stakeholder management, governance and change management aspects of engagement across all lifecycle stages.


The individual will be a capable of building and leading high performing and highly engaged teams and managing the successful execution of service delivery efforts, building credentials in line with our brand and market positioning.  They will ensure client satisfaction through delivery quality and that defined business value is delivered.


Key Responsibilities:

Innovative Solutions


  • Hold and maintain a deep understanding of the RPA market, industry context and the FSI’s strategy where RPA can deliver desired business outcomes; work with client stakeholders as well as across various Accenture practices and third party providers to build new propositions, services and/or innovative solutions that will deliver value to the FSI.
  • Understand the breadth of Accenture’s RPA and AI offerings to bring the best of Accenture to the FSI through delivering cross business transformational RPA solutions across the entire functional and industry space and developing and implementing plans for introducing new functional or industry RPA, RPA cognitive and AI solutions that help expand Accenture's footprint in the region.


Project Delivery


  • Apply industry knowledge and RPA and Intelligent Automation expertise to advise, change, transform and deliver outcomes that enable our clients to become high performing businesses.
  • Apply skills in project and programme management across multiple streams of work – with a particular focus on shaping solutions and coordinating work to ensure a sensible, workable outcome.
  • Bring deep specialist skills of programme delivery methods, including RAID reporting, governance structures, programme planning, and budget management for the successful delivery of RPA programmes.
  • Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end large scale project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment.
  • Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables, identify and timely escalate risks and issues and manage dependencies across work streams as well as interlock with other transformation initiatives.
  • Lead, develop and engage Accenture resources to identify and drive value for FSIs. Drive the strategic point of view and contribute to developing trust based relationships with the key client stakeholders.



People Management


  • Develop and manage high performing multidisciplinary teams, leading by example, including mentoring and providing guidance to project resources and proactively assigning work and providing instructions, advice and technical/business leadership and guidance to project staff, reviewing work in progress in a timely manner and assessing completed work for accuracy, required results and quality.
  • Provide performance input and ongoing feedback for all key members of the team.



Thought Leadership


  • Utilise Accenture thought leadership and research as a door opener to position our most innovative RPA and Intelligent Automation thinking.
  • Help shape and drive the development of thought leadership on the topic of RPA, cognitive and AI to proactively help address emerging needs and challenges.
  • Actively contribute to the RPA to Intelligent Automation community and clients as practitioners, who can think logically, solve problems and engage others.
  • Develop and present at industry conferences as an expert in the fields of Robotics and AI.



Key Qualifications:


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s  degree or higher
  • Management/Technology Consulting experience preferred
  • 7-12 years of Proven track record of managing large scale complex RPA engagement including experience in programme management, governance and change management of over 20000 man days in scale; or managing at least 100 FTEs in a distributed onshore/offshore environment
  • Experience across the Financial Services Sector



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in managing large, complex multi-faceted programs preferably in the financial industry, with demonstrated “can-do” attitude.
  • Deep understanding of overall delivery lifecycle and supporting methodologies and processes.
