Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese universities, including employment offices, career centers, faculty, and student organizations
  • Collaborate with Japanese government agencies and workforce development bodies to tap into national talent programs, scholarships, and partnerships
  • Harness talent pipeline for Japanese market, ensuring a qualified and interested supply of candidates including determining resource status and needs, coordinating recruiting events, and managing sourcing activities & assessment
  • Analyse talent trends and labour market insights for Japanese Market and act as a recruiting partner co-managing expectations and delivery of talent
  • Partner with business leaders to understand Japanese workforce needs and provide strategic hiring insights
  • Localize brand messaging for Japanese audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and appeal
  • Act as the primary contact point for stakeholders/vendors in Japan, ensuring smooth communication and alignment
  • Create promotional materials, campaigns, and online/offline initiatives targeting Japanese talent communities
  • Conduct screening, interviews, assessments, and coordinate the full hiring process in Japanese language

Requirements:

  • BSc in any field of study
  • 4-5 years of recruiting experience with proven track record of successful Japanese hires
  • Native level fluency of Japanese language
  • Organized, strong prioritization skills and familiar with MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently, possess an agile mindset and always seek innovative solutions
  • Good organizational & prioritization skills
  • Tech savvy and work well with tools
  • Possess team spirit with good communication and people skills
  • Hybrid working arrangement with office based at Klang Valley
