Underwriting Backend Support (North America / Middle East / Singapore / Australia / New Zealand)
Job Description:
The Underwriting Backend Support role is responsible for providing administrative and operational assistance to the underwriting team by ensuring accurate data entry, timely processing of customer applications, and adherence to established service standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Validate and enter customer proposals, applications, and transactions into the appropriate line-of-business policy processing systems.
Ensure all policy applications and transactions are processed within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
Generate and process quotations, new business policies, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other policy-related administrative tasks for consumer line products.
Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company guidelines throughout all processing activities.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or obtain missing information required for policy processing.
Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and policy documentation integrity.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Job Requirements:
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field
Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
General insurance knowledge/experience preferred
Experience in Business Process Outsourcing / Shared Services environment is an added advantage
Good command and comprehension of English (oral and written) is compulsory
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and validation.
Willingness to support different markets:
Australia & New Zealand (ANZ): 5 AM to 2 PM (Monday to Friday)
North America (NAM): 9 PM to 6 AM (Monday to Friday)
Middle East (ME): 12 PM to 9 PM (Monday to Friday)
