Job Description:
We are looking for a Junior IT Operations Engineer to join our Batch Operations team within Service Operations. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day job monitoring, incident handling, and issue resolution across multiple platforms. This role requires hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and Remedy ticketing, as well as familiarity with Windows, Unix, AS400, and Mainframe environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage batch jobs using Control-M scheduler.

Handle and resolve incidents through the Remedy ITSM platform.

Escalate and coordinate with appropriate teams in case of batch failures or system issues.

Perform routine health checks across systems including Windows, Unix, AS400, and Mainframe platforms.

Ensure timely job execution and follow-up on job delays or failures.

Maintain operational logs and documentation as per compliance requirements.

Work in shifts and support 24x7 operational coverage if required.
Mandatory Skills:
Hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling
Experience with Remedy or similar ticketing systems
Basic operational knowledge of Windows, Unix, AS400, and Mainframe environments
Good-to-Have Skills:
Understanding of batch processing in banking/financial systems
Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident/problem management
